Recently diagnosed with Lupus and then had appendicitis, I s there any connection?
Very unlikely, but ask your personal physician and ask if they checked the actual pathology of the appendix which was presumably removed with surgery to treat the appendicitis. The histology or pathology would go a great distance to reassuring you and your treating physician that lupus did not play a role unless there were characteristic changes in the specimen to suggest otherwise.
