The symptoms of lupus are very varied and differ from affected person to person. Fever, rash, aches, pains, swollen joints, pain related to deep breating because of fluid surrounding the lung (pleurisy) or heart (pericarditis), fatigue from anemia, bleeding from low platelets, infection from low WBC count most especially if also on steroids or immunosuppresice medication in an effort to control the disease once diagnosed, blood clots if anti phospholipid antibodies present in the blood and neurological problems from seizure, stroke to frank coma or psychoses have all been observed in persons with lupus.
