Steroids (especially when taken in high doses) can themselves cause breathlessness and chest pain, so it's difficult to say whether these symptoms are actually due to your illness, though you should still discuss them with your doctor. Lupus is only one of a range of different immune disorders which could be causing the problems you describe. Sometimes more than one of these conditions occurs in one patient. Your doctor will have to perform tests to rule out possible conditions one by one in order to work out the best treatment plan for you.

I had some crown work done by a dentist in my local area (about 2 1/2 years ago). The original dentist that did the work has an expressed warranty of 3 years.Since my porcelain crown has fractured and cracked in half, I contacted the dental office to inquire about warranty. I was informed that the original dentist had sold the practice to the current dentist that was inquiring with including the patient records. I have contacted both the original doctor and the current doctor. The current dentist has said that the liability still falls with the original doctor and the original doctor says the liability falls with the current dentist since the patient records were sold along with the practice. I'm stuck in the middle with both dentist pointing fingers at each other. On top of that, my insurance won't cover a replacement since the work was done withing the last five years so I'm stuck with a $1000 bill to replace the crown. Is there anything legal that I can do?

I am tired after awakening fronm sleeping all night. I have days where I just crash, can't do much, also have a headache on those days. Dr. ruled out lupus after the ana test because he said I didn't have physical symptoms. Then came the positive dsDNA. Just would like some answers.
I have been been suffering from extreme joint, bone and muscle pain since the third trimester of my pregnancy 2 years ago. Each day is more difficult that the last. The only part of my body that is not affected is my hands, my arms, neck, back, hips, thighs, knees and feet are all affected with this pain. It seems that every muscle in my body is super tight and very painful, even the muscles in my face and head. I also have a skin condition called hidradenitis that i have had since I was young. I get headaches frequently and have multiple "diagnoses". It is frustrating as all the diagnoses are related but I have found nothing that works for me to ease the pain. I have been put on enbrel, humira, methotrexate, azithioprine, remicade and every narcotic under the sun. but not one of them has worked to ease the pain. Does anyone out there have anything similar and found something that works? Please please advise, I am very frustrated.
I cannot place any particular emotion or physical reaction that goes with/during/after this. It happens at least once a day, different places, different times of day, around different people (or noone). This past year is happens more and more often. It use to be only once in a while. I am concerned.
