What is normal Sed Rate? When I think I'm having an exacerbation, my doctor checks my Sed Rate. It is currently 55. Is that elevated? I've been told that my lupus is only affecting my skin and joints. Does that mean it will never affect my kidneys, heart, etc? I was taking Plaquenil, but I chose to stop taking it unless I have a flare up. Is that NOT a wise decision?
YOUR SED RATE IS ELEVATED. ONE DAY IT WILL AFFECT YOUR KIDNEYS.The normal range for ESR is 0-10mm.
