I have lupus and my red blood cells started get high May of<br /> 2007, Oct.2007 red and white were higher then normal I went to an oncologist he did a bone marrow and results came back polycithemia vera. I am having phlebotomy now. I do know that lupus can affect the blood from what I have read.
