I had a cold about 3 weeks ago The pain in my chest started a week later. It was just above my right breast and ran through to my back and down my arm. I went to the doctor they did a chest x-ray and decided that I had pleurisy. I was given anti-flamm. meds and and to breath deep and to put a heating pad on it. I went bakc to the doctor a few days later and they gave me pain meds. The pain in my chest seems to be a bit better but the pain in my arm feels deep and hurts the most. I don't understand what is going on with this kind of pain. It sometimes lessens as the day goes and the pain meds but it is constantly there and some times stabbing. If a rub on the back of my arm It feels like a bad bruise that is deep and feels alittle better as I rub hard on it.
I have been been suffering from extreme joint, bone and muscle pain since the third trimester of my pregnancy 2 years ago. Each day is more difficult that the last. The only part of my body that is not affected is my hands, my arms, neck, back, hips, thighs, knees and feet are all affected with this pain. It seems that every muscle in my body is super tight and very painful, even the muscles in my face and head. I also have a skin condition called hidradenitis that i have had since I was young. I get headaches frequently and have multiple "diagnoses". It is frustrating as all the diagnoses are related but I have found nothing that works for me to ease the pain. I have been put on enbrel, humira, methotrexate, azithioprine, remicade and every narcotic under the sun. but not one of them has worked to ease the pain. Does anyone out there have anything similar and found something that works? Please please advise, I am very frustrated.
My Doctor say he has never heard of this before. Up till the test my appetite was great and I was eating very good. My appetite is still there its just nothing taste right. Will my tate buds ever return? Hope someone has had this situation that might help me. Please help and Thank you so much.
I am a young african american female..with extreme joint pain and fatigue. I have hair loss along with rashes after long term sun exposure.I have muscle aches constantly and low fevers. Im always sick which makes it hard to attend class. All my test come back normal so my doctor says lupus is impossible. Two of my aunts have been diagnosed with lupus and there ANA and the other DNA test came back neg, but once on the meds they got better.
