I am 30yrs old, female. Scheduled for blood test to determine if I have Raymaud's or any other autoimmune disorder. My symptoms for the past year include mild hair loss (which might be due to me having PCOS and endometriosis), extreme cold hands and feet to where they turn purplish blue then red, my face has been getting weird red rashes at times out of the blue, along with my knees, fingers, and ears..sometimes they tingle, sometimes they feel like they are on fire. I also have had pleurisy for 8 years had have attacks now and then. The past 3 years I have had major issues with endometriosis and PCOS, and have had a hysterectomy and my ovaries removed. I have read that women who have hormonal issues can develop lupus. I am also insulin resistant, which is pre-diabetic. This is driving my crazy! Does this sound like lupus to you??
You definitely sound like you have the typical symptoms of Raynauds syndrome. The difference is whether or not it is considered primary or secondary. Secondary Raynaud's has additional symptoms other than what's experienced normally with Raynaud's Phenomenon. Secondary commonly is linked to connective-tissue disorders, such as scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.
I know PCOS and endometriosis could occur with a metabolic disorder as well, so it is necessary to have the appropriate blood panels done through your specialists.
