Actually no, when you are diagnosed with Lupus you have to understand that it is considered a life threatening incurable disease. You are experiencing what we all experience which is onsets and remissions. Even in remission, we still have the disease that lays dormant until the next illness, drug or stressful event flares us back up.

Insurance companies will get your histories from the health care facilities and people that treated you for your ailments. There are people out there that have this job! (watch the movie SICKO) Having this information they can refuse to ever insure you based upon falsification/fraud. At least under the health care law they have to take you under insurance once your pre-existing condition time is lapsed. Be safe and note everything so it doesn't nip you in the rear later. They will make you pay out of pocket expenses for everything they covered to the point they find you left that detail out, so it can be expensive as well.
